SpecPro provided environmental compliance A&AS support for fuel facilities under the management control of DLA Energy (permitted sites) and for funding environmental costs for fuel facilities that store Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) capitalized fuel where the Military Departments have management control (non-permitted sites).
EPA Iola FUZ Remediation
SpecPro performs Remedial Action (RA) activities at the Former United Zinc and Associated Smelters Superfund Site (FUZ), located in the city of Iola, KS.
9th Mission Support Command (MSC) Development of Management Plans
Under this contract, SpecPro created/updated the 9th MSC Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan (ISWMP), Integrated Cultural Resource Management Plan (ICRMP) and the Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures Plans
Toxicological and Ecological Research Support Services

Stormwater Program Support
SpecPro supported the Navy as it contemplated establishing a Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System for the north and south branches of Pettibone Creek up to the boat basin at the Naval Station Great Lakes
Site Preparation and Invasive Vegetation Removal
SpecPro cleared invasive vegetation, including Brazilian Pepper, and applied natural herbicides for 17.76 acres in Cocoa, Florida, ensuring that vegetation removal activities did not impact Florida’s protected species such as Gopher Turtles.
